Originally from Canada, Leah has always had a passion to wander and see the world! With European heritage she grew up traveling both Eastern and Western Europe and has had the privilege of visiting countries like Ireland, the Netherlands, France, and Russia. While completing her undergraduate degree at the University of Calgary, she spent her summers volunteering abroad in Costa Rica, Cambodia, Mexico, Laos, and Thailand, just to name a few. In her graduating year, she studied abroad in Berlin and fell in love with the city. Post-graduation, she moved to New York City to pursue her Master’s degree while continuing to feed her travel bug- adding countries like New Zealand, the United Arab Emirates, Morocco, and Turks and Caicos to her list of visited places. She has now returned to Berlin to work for a local fashion company and wants to share the city’s best, local, and undiscovered spots that make Berlin so special to her. For those traveling to her home country of Canada, Leah recommends that you always have a good pair of walking shoes- there is lots to explore on foot everywhere! And to always ask any locals you may meet on your travels for their tips and recommendations- Canadians love to share their country with visitors and you will probably get to see and do amazing things this way!
